Sonia Alegre, head of Freedom Finance Europe's Madrid office, talks about business development in Spain and what advantages the company offers to the local investors in an interview for Estrategías de Inversión ("Investment Strategies").
The publication has provided up-to-date data and analysis on the financial markets since 2005 and is an important source of information for professional and individual investors.
According to Alegre, Freedom Finance Europe’s Spanish office which opened in March this year, has a particular focus on retail investors, whose numbers have been growing rapidly in recent years.
— Given our organic growth and plans for international expansion, opening an office in an important market like Spain was a natural step, — said the head of the Madrid office. We aim to attract more than 10,000 clients in Spain and to establish ourselves in this market as the leading retail broker for private investors.
— In addition to the 1 million traditional financial instruments such as bonds, stocks, options and exchange-traded funds, Freedom Finance Europe offers its clients an extremely rare product for the European market — the ability to buy stocks at IPO prices in the US market, — Alegre said.
— We have two types of clients. The first one is an experienced investor who already knows how capital markets work and who has a long-term strategy with a conservative approach. There are also novice investors who are attracted to more profitable, and therefore riskier, products.
— For private investors, among other things, it is very important to have our analytical support and our advice on how to allocate their funds between different assets depending on their experience, the strategy chosen and the duration of the investment, — Alegre added.
Freedom Finance Europe provides its clients with all the safeguards required by international regulations, investment protection and custody of securities at major global depositories.
